It is well known that in a pyramid system with respect to a hierarchy of an organization the top management is sitting at the apex of the pyramid while the sales, marketeers and administrative staff rest at the bottom of the pyramid.
This is a similiar structure when an army general commanded his troops to go to war.
After all, the corporate guys who are the top management are supposed to be paid the highest and their leadership is required to drive the company s direction forward in a fast changing world.
Yet I heard some so called corporate guy was telling their employees that the hierarchy should be the shape of the pyramid in an upside down manner.

Yet I heard some so called corporate guy was telling their employees that the hierarchy should be the shape of the pyramid in an upside down manner.
The employees response was of muted silence and disbelief.
They didn’t know whether they should laugh or cry.
In their mind, with a bloated top management whom would command a much higher salary than them and the thinning of the number of employees at the foot of the diagram only means more work, multi tasking and even greater stress for them.
Have you ever heard an army full of generals and toofew soldiers?
What would really happened?
Well, being a general means giving orders and since most of the generals have huge ego, many instructions which are sometimes opposite or completely overlapping with the original directive, would have been given to the soldiers, resulting in total confusion.
In this scenario, probablya bunch of soldiers are given orders to attack a certain enemy territories and when they are ready to mount the challenge thenanother general stormed in and rescinded the order.
Obviously the generals will bicker about who is right and who is wrong.
Politics will rear it’s ugly head.
A chain of confusing commands will only drive down the morale of the soldiers.
Why should the soldiers fight for those generals who continue to argue among themselves, jostle for positions and tried their hand at dirty politics.
The soldiers have a job to do.
Yet it ain’t politics.
So with a bloated top management you only have people whose job is to instruct other people.
It’s all about giving instructions.
Yet no job gets done.
And when that happens, the blame game starts.
Everybody will try to blame somebody else.
Someone else to try to blame anyone that he could think of.
Just to save their asses.
So it’s all about excuses.
A lot of orders been given.
Most jobsdon’t get executed.
Who suffers in the end?
The employees at the foot of the diagram.
Many will become disillusioned.
Some stayed hoping for a better change.
Most would have abandoned ship.
They didn’t know whether they should laugh or cry.

If there is no change, morale obviously will be affected.
In the end only the company shareholders suffer.
By the time they know what happen, it’s already too late to save it.
That’s what happens when some people think that they are much smarter than the rest,

Even though most of them do not know what they are doing.
