Chaing YiLing, is a Penangite lady whose singing talents has been developed and cultivated at a very young age. Straight A’s student during her secondary school days, Chaing YiLing won the Margaret Pascoe Singing Scholarship to study in Hungary for her Masters Degree in Music.
While studying in Birmingham Conservatoire, she also won the Ella Cheshire Award for Soprano.
Her powerful and astounding voice has mesmerized the audience in the prestigious KL Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance with Datuk Ramli Ibrahim, the iconic guru in Indian classical dance a few years ago.
Her latest international stints include the recently concluded Myammar Music Festival and OperaSiam.
Hayden Kua, a 13 year old music wonder kid completed his studies in Alice Smith School and has been granted a music scholarship to study in Eaton College in United Kingdom.
Eaton College, famed for producing a few British Prime Ministers, will welcome Hayden in September 2016.
Hayden is a multi talented musician, obtaining a violin and piano Grade 8 with ABRSM/Trinity with Distinction who is also very much at home with the flute as well.
He emerged champion under the Youth A Category in the recent violin competition at Singapore Raffles International Festival in June 2016.
Both Chaing YiLing and Hayden Kua were the guest performers during the Book Launch of “A Man and His Wallet & other stories’ and produced an unforgettable yet masterful performance that has left the audience completely spellbound.
