The initial sets of doodles are much more abstract and invites the reader to visualize within their own creative mind on what does the doodle actually represent and what kind of message would it like to convey.
Yet sometimes when its too abstract it can be difficult to comprehend let alone appreciated.
Then again the set of doodles has to be enticing enough for readers to want a second glance.
Or to pause and reflect what it would represent.
My initial sets were viewed by a selective target group and I received interesting comments.
My second batch of sketches were also viewed by some and there were some comments that I thought was insightful.
So my dilemma was to choose the type of doodles that would really represent my perception and the messages that I would like to share with the readers.
It was tough. Especially tougher when you are dabbling in muddy waters.
Yet I think its imperative to comprehend that whatever that we do, we most likely cannot g wrong if we are guided by the voice of our hearts.
Our instincts generally don’t lie.
It is only when we utilize the element of logic and drown our very own instincts that all hell break loose.
Sometimes our instincts might not be correct after all.
Yet we should placate ourselves by reassuring words that its better to be wrong if its our own decision based on the guiding principles that is a reflection of how we want to live our lives.
So I listened to the voice within me.
And the rest is history.
