Taking the midnight flight to Europe would always be my preference as I would arrived there in the morning according to their time zone.
Synchronizing the time in such a way allowed me greater flexibility in planning my schedule.
If the hotel that you booked could allow earlier check in then it would have been great as a hot shower in the morning before you venture out for sightseeing purposes would keep us in a wonderful state of mind.
If it’s checking in during weekdays or during off peak season most likely that might be possible.
I arrived early enough to feel the rays of the morning sun illuminating a brand new day.
The hotel was about a fifteen minutes walk from the airport so that was really convenient.
They allowed early check in and by the time I ventured out to explore the place it was about midday.
There was no necessity to rush as a holiday would always be about taking your own sweet time to do the things that you want.
I never really like following a strictprogramme or trying to maximize your schedule for the day.
I did have a few places in mind to visit however it would also best to leave it spaced out pretty well as you might end up staying at a certain place longer than expected.
Sometimes you just want to have a cuppa and watched as the time progressed ahead.
The sky was crystal clear interspersed with white clouds yet that provided the illuminating light for the best photography sessions you could possible yearn for.
It only took me ten minutes to walk to the city centre.
There were many outdoor cafés that was packed with locals and tourists.
Laughter and jovial mood enveloped the area.
A further walked down the road and you could find a majestic scene of an array of intricate architecture of buildings that faced the river front.
If the many bridges that connect both sides if the river you could just have a pleasant walk in the cold breezy weather and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
You could have a cup of cappuccino or walked into any of the little tourist shops for souvenirs for those back home.
A little diversion would take you to the old town where many street events were held and many more people trickled in by lunch time.
Many were seen tasting the cheese fondue, a delicacy worth exploring.
You meet many happy and friendly people.
You could only find most of them in jovial mood and was having a great time themselves.
At night, when the sun was setting you would be mesmerized by the spectacle of evening sun casting shadows on some of the iconic buildings facing the river front.
A pleasant and relaxing walk indeed in a city called Zurich.
It was a short trip yet a worthy one as the city becomes alive in the afternoon and you just get sucked in on all the euphoria enveloping the place where people meet and greet or spend the days together
